The concept of Utkalika Costumes was born over understanding the true need of customized costumes which are required for specific events for schools, colleges, corporates, traditional , international and many such purposes.

Ms. Rita Samal, choreographer, proprietor of Utkalika Costumes is an accomplished ‘Nrithya Visharad’ from Chandigarh University under Bhanja Kala Kendra, Rourkela.

Her wide spread experience spanning 25 years giving live dance performances, teaching Indian traditional dance to students across India and providing event appropriate variety of costumes has taken her so far in life.
